Guidelines for the preservation and cleaning of your scarf

CARE INSTRUCTIONS - ARTISANAL BOGOLAN & NDOP SCARF

Dye Characteristics:

The bogolan and NDOP dyes are natural, artisanal, and have been pre-set. Their specific composition requires adapted care to preserve their color and integrity over time.

Care Guidelines:

1. Routine Cleaning (Primary Recommendation)

* Professional dry cleaning only.

* This method is recommended for optimal and long-lasting results.

2. Alternative Refreshment Procedure (If dry cleaning is not possible)

* Authorized refreshment:The scarf may be refreshed by tumbling it in a dryer for a few minutes on a low heat setting.

* Essential precaution: Use a dryer sheet or pre-spray the scarf with a dry wash spray.

3. Localized Stain Treatment

* Gently clean the stained area with a damp cloth.

Strictly Prohibited:

* Machine washing is strictly forbidden.

Behavior when in contact with water:

* The scarf is resistant to rain, even heavy rain.

* Complete immersion in water is prohibited.

Ironing:

* Iron the scarf only on the side with the bogolan/NDOP patterns.

* Alternatively, place a protective cloth (like a thin cotton towel) between the iron and the scarf to protect both sides.
